Ok not having a live-in helper really takes its toll on me. No time to update blog, no time to socialise and no time to whine and also no time to be updated when it comes to national news. but thanks to twitter I have it all summarized so I wont be 'katak bawah tempurung'. I have not taken so much orders since time seems to be envious of me. 1 or 2 orders a week is more than enough. Enough to make my itchy hands stop screaming for some artistic work :)

Last year was good. New Year's Eve party was reallyyyyy good. Some new friends I make and existing friends to cherish more. I love the idea of getting together, I'm a late bloomer if I must say it so to myself, I'm allowed to babble here as this is my blog?. Therapeutic to let loose a little.

It takes a very looooong time for me to call somebody a buddy, but it is worth it. I believe it's better to grow something slowly but with all strong ingredients than to quickly accomplish a sand castle but easily ruined by a twist in the wind (bare with me).

My twins are getting bigger, bigger in the sense less groggy in the morning hence more peaceful. And for me - I get a 'me time' which is the most precious when u r a fulltime mom.

Ok something I want to share here. It's my greatest discovery in 2011. My twins skin specialist suggested a nasal spray called Avamys. Honestly speaking, I've suffered from sinus as long as i remember. Done the polyp removal, and sinus cleansing. I used to sneeze in the morning and suffered a nose-block all day long. Staying in the aircond is a no no. Headache was almost constant.

Ok cut the story short this spray takes away 90% of the problem, now I can eat seafood or stay in the aircond. No more interupted sleep, so are my children, they dont wake up at night scrathing their nose u think it will come off anytime soon. Try it, maybe it can safe you and family as it did to mine.

I got news from a friend's maid who is a close friend to my maid that she's not coming back to work with me after 6 years, and not telling me which is the saddest part. So today not a good day, this feeling of betrayal is overcoming all my calm senses. I didn't know it was gonna hurt me this much. She came with zero knowledge, no idea what a microwave was, didn't know that gargle is for mouth not for washing machine and the elevator is to take u up and down.

I was not being very nice to her, the agent charged me so much money, yet sent me a maid who had eye and ear problem. I took her to a spectacle shop and they told me her vision was imbalanced and needed more than a pair of glasses to perfect it. We made her new glasses anyway. And I noticed she had hearing problem, couldn't hear properly. She finally told one of her friends one of her ears is not working. So there u go, our decision is to accept her weaknesses and she had to tolerate our needs that mostly she had no idea what.

Years passed and we finally come to this time when we understand each other. I reminded her countless time, if she wanted to leave my family and go somewhere else or if she wanted to get married again, let me know. I would let her.

But deciding to not come back is such a betrayal. I don't know why she decides what she decides but I hope there's a tiny bit of regret doing what she does. In not so many words, my family loves her. And with that we say goodbye.

Ramadhan has passed, I was too busy meeting customers' requests for yummy cakes, I had forgotten to wish my blog visitors the most important event in my life. I've gone thru a journey which gained some new good buddies and also lost some due to some unfortunate misunderstanding, this is what they say 'u can't have it all man, win some lose some'. I look at my life as a battle/struggle to make things better each day. I imagine being part of middle earth battle, all for a greater future of all beings. My roller coaster rides, new values I adopt, life-style changing from old-fashion mentallity to a clearer thinking, being weak to Xena the warrior princess ha ha. I had a friend who I thought one of my good buddies, who was the one who could knock on my window at 1 am in the morning for a chat. But that same person said the most horrible thing imaginable, who hurt me the deepest, to that person, I have never claimed myself to be angely good, nor that I lied to make me look good. I say what I do, and what I don't, pls do not say I did.

It was mother's day yesterday, I had a complete full weekend, all because my hiking trip to Bukit AhPek and Saga turned out to be much longer than it should. It was Saturday when me and hubby and a group of friends decided to climb AhPek and Saga Hill in Cheras (both are next to each other). We took the wrong trail to the waterfall which ended up 3 hrs more.So altogether, we were on foot for more than 7 hrs, well, for professional hikers, it's probably nothing but for weekend hikers like me, it was definitely exhausting.

I came back only to realise there were 3 cakes to decorate for Sunday, and so I was spending all night til 5 am Sunday morning baking and decorating cakes. And guess what, it got even better, my daughter's sports day Sunday (great!!). I woke her up, told her I was super duper sorry I couldn't attend her sport's day I was dead tired. She was a little angel that day to let me be excused, said yayah (father) would be there, it should be ok. After shower at about 8.30am I planned to take a long deep sleep hoping to recover from sleepless night and whole-body muscle ache. But I couldn't, after 1/2 hr toss and turn, I thought 'eff it! I got to be there for her, how could I sleep and not see her run'.

I was there at 9.30am, missed her first 100m run (which she won 1st place, yahoo!!), got to see her 4x100 but her team got 3rd place (denial or not I blame the baton haha, seriously, the girl made my daughter turned back to grab the baton, oh well). I took part in parents vs teachers, ran in the freaking hot sun at 1pm in the afternoon. 3rd place and a piece of face towel for the prize, can't complain much, it was actually fun.

We came back, freshened up and continued to The Gardens for mother's day retreat, after a little meal and some shopping for me from dear hubby (thank you for the prezzie darling :)), the kids insisted they wanted to get me something.

We browsed through at a frivolous jewellery shop, a place where I know they can get something within the limit of their pocket money (hahaha). I told them not to get me anything, just be nice to mummy for the day, that would be my gift, but they insisted. I know how much my 7 yr olds have in their pockets, when they decided to buy, I looked for something cheapest. I treasure the look in their faces when they proudly paid rm2.50 each for the rings, and sister paid rm20 for the earings. I immediately put the rings and earings on when we stopped by at Baskin Robbins, they were speechless, proud and happy. I have to admit, I'm the most blessed mother in the world. I hope we will keep this closeness until the end of our days. I pray the best things for them in their lives. And I hope they will remember me through the best times we have when they are with me.

This cake is a Wedding gift from a girl to a husband-to-be. For Malay weddings we do gift-exchange on the day of the ceremony, and my cake is one of it :). This cake is the most original I've ever made. I usually get a sample of cake photos from customers. I will copy but as much as I can try to make it my own, but this one I only have a photo of a ducati. After carving and shaping, I managed to make it look like one, yeay?

Ooops, it's not black, it's red velvet, try change that in the lyrics *red velvet if u please.....* , the in thang today and I wanna be part of it. Those who have not tasted this cake, pls do, if not mine, ehemm cof cof, u can get it from cake shops almost everywhere in town. The taste melts all nerves in your mouth and u'll be blown away and think u've gone to heaven and rewarded a cake of the Gods. Ok I might be exaggerating a little. But trust me, try it, at least once in ur lifetime ;)

Broga Hill 2011

Ok ok, I'm not the athletic type but climbing hills? It's definitely 1 thing I'd do it again. Although I must add, sea sports is another one I enjoy the most, particularly the para-sailing, I went on it many times and crashed into the sea once with my daughter, but all good.

Broga Hill is in Semenyih, which is about an 1/2 hour drive from our place in PJ ... if ur driving at 4.30 in the morning. I'm not gonna guide u on how to get there, here's one useful link I found. When we got there at 5am, we didn't wait a second, started climbing immediately. My 10 yr old daughter came with me, in the pic here u can see my hubby,daughter and her close friend Sofea. We reached the 3rd peak at 5.58am, and that was after 10 *take 5s* for me haha. We waited for the sunrise, tho' I think the climb took its toll on us, we were dizzy from exhaustion, facing the opposite direction and witnessed a moonset instead! It was a good workout, at least 5 kilos lighter when we touched the ground again, ok this time I really exaggerate :)

It's not too late to say 'Happy New Year' to everyone who visit this blog. To my repeat customers, tq for believing in me. This year my little twins start schooling in primary school year 1 and I think I'm the most stressed out mum on the planet lol. A new beginning for my 2 superheroes. Parents are allowed 1 week in school compound, the idea is for parents to help their child adapt faster with the routines. And I did what I was supposed to. I underestimated their potential. They are doing very well indeed (proud mommy).

I'm half way through 'The Highly Explosive Child' by Dr. Ross Greene and I'm already finding it excellent. Those out there who have children who are super sensitive, explode way too easily should read this book. U can do self-test on Elaine Aaron website, click here. This will help you decide if your child is one. It occurred to me, if I didn't decide to read this book, I wouldn't know what a situation like mine could cost us as family. I wouldn't know certain things could have been so much better if handled different way.

My new yr resolution (I can laugh at myself saying this). Well, I hope to be more open, not being too private about my normal unfamous indifferent life. This blog is the most convenient, it's a one way communication, no fear thinking no audience involved.

I made the flowers myself, it's not easy but the result made this cake one-of-a-kind, well not to say it's the most gorgeous cake but you won't get the flowers anywhere else in KL, yeay to me (oh dear, I'm in one of those moods again).

Human Vs Robots = Gadgets Vs Bonds

We live in a world that's going thru a fast changing life style, if the generation before us lose their jobs to machines, I'm losing my kids to gadgets , and it's all up to me to decide, which is tough if there are totally 2 different individuals in the house. Old fashion? Call me what u want, if old-fashion means the last bit u have as a human then, be it! You share a life with someone who u don't even want to converse with, I think as a robot, u are the one who's confused. If everything that u built so far does not leave u with a bit of interest (enough to make u put away your gadgets), then there's no point claiming they are yours. It doesn't take a genius to tell u it is plain rude to be conversing with people on twitter while having friends what more family members with u, the ones who should matter most in your life since who you are now is a combination of the existence of these people.

If u stuff your kids with gadgets, name it ipod, ipad, PSP, PS2, Xbox+Kinect, u send them away, their bond is not with u but with the machines, and on your part, u say u care but u actually want to get rid of them or softer words, take away the time u should spend with them.

I'm not saying I should be "katak bawah tempurung" for not being supportive of the gadgets idea. But each and everything we have has a limit, Xbox Kinect is an excellent tools for family-get-together (meaning one of them is not free to chat on twitter while spending time with family- there's a reason why they call it QUALITY TIME!)

Having said all this, I'm a pro-technology, I'd be happiest if one day the Russian 500-days team make it to Mars, or if Planet Nibiru decides to pass by bringing along existence from other universe. I would love to live to see things materialised.

I take this opportunity to say thank you to someone who says "take care of yourself" which convey a totally huge meaning, and it triggered, I SHOULD take care of myself, love myself more!

I like this one although I would prefer less flowers than this, bride wanted a flowery flow so I had to fill up the tiers with some, well with tons :))

This is actually not one of my bests but the bride request for that color combination, i can do better and hope to do better everytime.

I must say, this is my favourite for the month. Not easy to do, but the result is what I've imagined. To the bride, hope she likes my work.

Worst is when I have to let the kids being taken care of by their bibik. They are learning that mummy/mama (dono which one will be permanent) has to work for the money.

I used to think there must be something lacking in my parenting skill. My kids aren't just normal. Every single change of plan or if a friend did something unfavourable, I'd be their convenient target, and the battle isn't easy, the whole house will go chaotic. I hope there'll be some methods I could adopt so I could help my kids go through the series a lot easier than they used to.

It's peaceful and absolute quiet in the house, just the way I like it, kids are asleep, I'm left alone with minimum light at one corner of this small living room. And I dont understand why "Miley Cyrus - When I look at you" keep humming in my brain. Maybe I should call it a night and hope Bruce Springsteen will come in my dream and lullaby me Magic, goonite everyone!

This cake belongs to my old friend's daughter. When I finished the cake, my boys wanted to see who it was made for. I said look at it yourself and read, which they did. If you are desperate enough to find out, you will be able to read. That's what I always tell them.

I was born in a place where no one spoke a word of English. Books and newspapers were not a normal thing. But I always wanted to know more, learn more and see more, so I got myself out of that small village and went to Cardiff University for my degree where I lived with 7 British girls. I had no choice but to speak the language. Some of the girls were so nice they offered to be my verbal dictionary during my revision for exams. I understood the language better but couldn't speak properly. I came back to Malaysia, married a guy who's family speaks only English, my vocabulary and grammar gets better and better.

If you wonder, what's the bigdeal about learning the English language when speaking your own language does not make you less of a person. Yes, I agree but knowledge is expanding rapidly and you can only get it in that language. Unless you are Italian, important books are translated for u, but still, not all.

My husband introduced me to The Lord of The Rings (LOTRs) long before the first movie was made. I secretly fell in love with it, tried to read the first few pages but gave up half way. It's too difficult for me to understand. I consider my English to be at kindergarten level. Everyone else was born with it, so they master the language without even trying. But I'm not gonna wait and let old age accepts me (ok ok, that's a little copy from Eowyn-Aragorn dialogue before Helm's Deep battle). So I keep reading with http://www.dictionary.com/ right infront of my face. It gets frustrating at times but I managed to finish a few books. Even if I get 70% out of the whole book, I consider myself lucky already.

When I heard Peter Jackson was turning the books into movies. I was one of the happiest persons. I thought all the three movies were the best of all time. I let LOTRs dvd become my background music for weeks. Recently, my 9 yr old daughter has fallen in love with the movies. She cried in the end when Frodo left Sam to go to the undying lands. She kept pestering me why, why must Frodo leave. I told her, Frodo's wound was not completely healed, he needed some magical power from the elves to make him better. But then I remembered, my hubby bought me 'Guide to Tolkien'. It's really helpful since the book explains all the characters in detail. Now Tolkien guide's become bedtime story for my girl, after his service at the Shire and the death of his wife Rose Cotton, Samwise Gamgee sailed to the underlying lands to be with his master Frodo Baggins. Of course after that discovery, my lil girl fell asleep peacefully.

There's a lot to learn, to enjoy from books, movies, tv series and music. The world has great gifts, hats off to brilliant writters and directors who simplify thousand words into few minutes scenes. I truely love True Blood. Anna Paquin is the best cast for Sookie Stackhouse, sexy yet never realizes that she is, and the most appealing about her is she's genuinely a sincere kind person. I download this series faitfully everyweek (used to be Lost, hehe ma man Jack Shephard *howl*.....). Err..oh, btw this show is 18sx, those with kids, make sure you see it when they are not around.

For my kids, I expose them to as much knowledge as they want provided what they know or curious about is under my constant guidance/supervision.

The customer wanted edible image for this one, but 3 days notice is not enough to order, so she asked me to draw one of the characters, I hope it does look like Woody. I took the kids to see Toy Story 3 in a big "rombongan", went with Irene and Suzi and their kids. But the movie didn't do much to them, it's one of those they never mention to see again, unlike Prince of Persia, that one mummy also don't mind Dastan a few more times ;-)

Pink Train cake

My daughter says this is the best cake I've ever made, well, she says that everytime, nice ah to have your children tell u that everytime u finish a cake. I spent a lot of time making this one, I prepared all the figurines and flowers a few days earlier, it was a whole day job, and constructing the train is not easy, I doubled the fondant to make sure the crumbs wouldn't get in the way, and the base also needs double layer of fondant. But ey, at least the kids were screaming with joy when they saw this cake. Worth my sleepless night!

Btw, I'm watching Germany England now, how frustrating it would be for England after this. The whole match up until now I feel like England are not playing, the Germans run faster, the 'not-goal' should've been a goal. Oh well, I can imagine my friends in UK, Trick, Jones, Marsh, would've been with u all if I was there. It's 4-1 yall! sob sob

This month is a busy month, I lost my camera for 2 weeks, one of the twins played with it and accidentally kept it in one of his sister's countless bags (girls have tons of bags but they never seems to be enough !) There are more cake pics that I can't upload, I tried to use phone camera but the photos turn out horrible so..wait if I get the pics from some of my friends -yeah yeah..u know who u are!

I went back to my home town, didn't bring the whole clan, left hubby and twins behind (didn't know it was gonna be emotional when we were about to leave the house thinking this was the first time I travelled without the twins).

It was different this time, I spent a lot of time with my sister, talking rubbish and laugh and the audience was my daughter, marvelled at how close we are as sisters. She said "it's unfair I don't have a sister like you, it's so fun looking at you and mak long", and I said " sorry darling, mama dah tutup kedai, 3 is more than enough, in fact, mama already pengsan everyday when u all fight"

I checked in at a local hotel, my mother and sister came to lepak with me and my daughter. Poor mother, she takes care of my sick brother at home and never gets to go anywhere. So staying at the hotel is like a holiday break for her. You have no idea what mothers would do for the sake of their children, unless you're a mother, hehe - mothers out there!! it's late but here in Malaysia everything is celebrated for a month, so cheers to all the mothers who forego their own happiness for the benefit of their children, and I've known many!

It's also my birthday this month, my daughter complains that it's a pokai month for her since she has to come up with two presents, mothers day and my birthday. Guess what she gave me for my birthday, 10 ringgit!! (errr...tq honey! ok ok I shouldn't laugh, it's the thought that counts thingy :-))

Well, there are so many movies to watch, Shrek, Prince of Persia, Ironman 2(haven't seen it until I download a good copy). I saw Robin Hood, what can u expect from the same director, when Robin came back to the burnt village, he squatted and I was like "don't touch the sand, don't pick up the sand" but he did, so the image of Maximus quickly came to mind. But I love it anyway, Ridley Scott can never go wrong. It's the best looking Little John out of all the Robin Hoods. Altho Russel Crowe-Robin/Maximus never gives me that YUMMY effect like Viggo Mortensen-Aragorn or Matthew Fox-Jack Shephard from Lost. Alright..stop drooling and off I go!! ;-)

My favourite for this month altho I think I could have done better, it's not perfect for me but my dear friend kind enough to say it's gorgeous as always. This one is more renyah than I thought but fun to make. I spent the whole night decorating 15pcs altogether. Blame the `video games live concert' I went to in KLCC. It was awesome I dont regret going. For video game freaks, check out this concert again next year. I promise u it's something different to enjoy. You can take the kids too, they'll enjoy it. I'm not so much a gamer but I love every bit of it. The concert finished at 11.30pm, 12 am I reached home and started to decorate this mini cakes until the next morning, and guess what? Mum in law (MIL) came to visit, no time to whine, went to the market, cooked laksa and bought some other stuffs to make my dining table look more inviting. Lucky MIL not the fussypot. She said, enough Norli, just go to sleep, and I did right after lunch while talking to her, can ah??

I think human should stop re-producing, do not bring anymore little ones, the earth not gonna be a nice place to live by the time they reach adulthood. My first fondant handbag, it's for a friend who's been my friend for many2 years, have a wonderful celebration with loved ones!

Today is not a happy day for me, but cakes make me happy, and this one does. Oh what the heck, it's a hard life and I'm tired. I'm glad my friend loves the cake, it's my job to make my customers happy. Unfortunately it's been my job to make everyone around me happy without realizing my emotion is running dry and sometimes it's just too much to swallow. My heart physically feels pain but eyy I'm sure in one way or another, each one of us suffers in a different way. I thank my best buddy for being there for me today, it would've been harder without you.

It's school holiday and my job begins! Everyone gets married and I get to do the cakes. This one took a long time to decorate, not because it's difficult (bukan kacang tanah, hee..), but because after wrapping the cake with fondant, I didn't know what to do with it. I decided to go to sleep and hoped I'd get a dream of how to decorate the cake and it worked. I woke up at 4 o'clock in the morning and the idea came pouring like heavy rain. This one is for my twins kindie teacher. A very nice girl who chooses pink and purple theme for her wedding. Congratulations Nadia, wishing you happily eva afta! :-)

I'm so happy that somebody like the girl-version of this cake and ordered one for her son. She asked for choc cake, but oh my, I didnt know doing the blocks for choc cake is so much much harder, it's because pieces from the choc cake will stick to the fondant and it's impossible to clean, this will be the last time I do choc cake for the blocks, after this only buttercake I can offer. I hope the owner of this cake is happy with the cake inside out. Thank you for the order.

Happy New Year Everyone! Altho it's a bit "basi" already. I've been quite occupied with christmas and new year parties. Pre-christmas dinner by Rosie, christmas lunch at Priya's, new year dinner at Fatty Crab with the ladies, and new year dinner with hubby and friends and new year dinner thrown by Karen.

In between those parties, I had to bake and I had to settle my daughter's school books, making sure that each one was wrapped otherwise she'd be in trouble or I'd say "I'd be in trouble". My daughter is a nervous sort. If things don't get done the way she expects, she could be a pain in the **s! haha

I didn't upload cake photos for new year since they are repeat orders, meaning more or less the same design again and again. Like today for instance, I made the Oreo cupcakes again. But I DID make cupcakes for hantaran, oh well, I'll upload them when there's time. I also bake yummy cakes like choc cake with choc topping and orange cake with cream cheese icing and cheesecake. I'll include these in my price list.

My new year's resolution? Ok...I've been meaning to come up with a price list for my cakes, but it's just too difficult to price birthday cakes, for cupcakes i think i can manage. Birthday cakes are very subjective, it will depend on "what customers ask", "how long it takes to do it", and "whether the requests are within the given price".

But don't worry my dear customers, I WILL finish the price list which will give rough idea of how much a cake will cost.

What have I achieved in 2009? Well, there are many that I keep to myself, personal achievements only my heart can see.

But some general ones:

1) I managed to buy a second-hand piano for my daughter. She's gonna attend piano lesson starting tomorrow.

2) I made my twins quit their milk bottles. It was a bit cold turkey, or should I say cruel of me to...just do it!! They didn't cry but at times saying "mama, sometimes I keep thinking I cannot sleep without my botol". And I said " Well, it's ok to miss your botol, but you are going to be 6 years old soon, you can drink milk with cup already, malu la orang nampak.." And until today they never ask about their botol anymore.

Ok...I'm not going to write more than that otherwise some of the personal ones will eventually accidentally come out ;-)

I thank God for giving me this special life with my family and good friends (nebors, school friends, college and uni). It's not super duper perfect but it's enough for me. I hope this new year will allow me to invent new cakes, and I hope it will bring a lot of happiness to all of you out there.

New Moon cake

Not only movies have sequels, my cakes too...! I knew it, after my Twilight, sure there'd be demand for New Moon, isn't it cool peeps!!

I saw New Moon, When Edward popped the question in the final scene, I unconsciously replied, "yeah..marry me too!!". How embarassing, the whole cinema could hear my whispering voice (giggle in my heart).

I like the whole story in the movie, the usual 'beginning', 'developing' and 'climax' are good, only the 'ending' is a bit of a problem for me. I know New Moon is not supposed to be about 'Edward and Bella' but 'Bella and Jacob'. But isn't the Twilight saga all about the love story between the vampire and the human beauty?

For me, I was hoping to see a more soothing ending with Edward and Bella walking hand in hand or cuddling in the meadow or piggy-backing thru the forest or anything to comfort me that the whole point is about these two people.

And another thing is, the ending is like an episode of a soap opera, something like, "oh yeah, dont worry folks, we'll see what happens next tomorrow or the next week". Worse when it's like Lt.Horatio Caine at the end of a scene. Those who watch CSI Miami or used to watch will know what I mean ;-D.

It's not like we'll see what's next in a couple of months, this is one year we are talking about, if I were to be 39 years of age, It'd be a major event reaching 40, and that's how long one year is, like a decade difference (ok, I'm a little carried away already).

Anyhow, I love the movie, lighting not so kind to Edward this time tho, he looks less cute, maybe the camera only focuses on how good the biceps look on Jacob Black, hehehe...hubby hon! your biceps look hawt too!!

Twilight cake

This is choc cake with choc ganache. The weight is close to 1.3kilo. With a bit of decoration, I take rm60 for this cake, the edible image is separate. All special edible image will have an extra charge of rm25, so this cake is 60+25= rm85.

I was so waiting for somebody to order Twilight cake and yesss, finally I got it. A simple chocolate cake with Twilight edible image on top. I'm actually a Twilighter (not die-hard fan tho). I finished reading all the 4 books in 2 weeks. It was very irresponsible of me to be lost in the world of a teenager but to those who know me, I never really grew up, so a big part of me is still stuck in "never never land".

So here's what i think:

After finishing the entire saga, I think there's absolutely no reason to stay human.

1) Human dont get to live forever. NASA's sensing satelite discovered that there's water on the moon.This also means that one day scientists might be able to "live off the land". The mission will continue from moon to Mars. Isn't it a shame if we do not get to live to see what's going on next, whether humans would eventually find their way out of this galaxy? Ok, back to Twilight saga. Vampires live forever, I'd offer myself to be one so I'd have that chance to ride on a space ship and off to Mars!!

2) Vampires are one-woman men and vice versa. U see.. human beings mostly are not loyal/faithful or however else u want to call it. My husband is not one of them of course ;-). If u know James' character in the movie, he was ripped apart and burnt to pieces. In the sequels, Victoria (his partner - in an animal world she would be mate) would never stop hunting Bella since Bella is seen as the reason for her loss. Rosalie and Emmet are like one thing, so are Alice and Jasper. Good or bad, bloodsuckers are the best life partner you'll ever have (if only they really existed).

3) Vampires are superheroes with superpowers. Wouldn't this world be a better place if there's more of this species than the weaker ones? Imagine all the impossible things like a vampire becoming a marine biologist. He wouldn't need an oxygen tank to go a 1000 feet deep into the sea. She could walk on the moon breathless. Their venoms could do wonders, even the terminally ill could be cured. Let alone the speed when they move, it'd come in handy when it comes to combating crime.

4) All Vampires are angelic with a certain glow. When u become a vampire, your skin changes, u are more shiny and you'll look fairer. It would be perfect for those longing to look better than they do now.

Well, these are a few of the many reasons why becoming a vampire is advantageous. I personally think the author Stephenie Meyer has a bit of a little girl in her, creating this perfect world for every girl's dream, to have somebody to love you unconditionally, and to have 2 superpowers to protect you every step of the way. It's the most fairy tale of fairy tales I've ever come across. And I thank Stephenie Meyer for this beautiful piece she created. Who wouldn't dream of a perfect world.....:-)

Mommies...!! here's one very girlish and pinkish cake. I was a bit worried when decorating it since her mum said Afrina's very particular about her birthday cake. But later a warm sms with a big HAPPY word in it comforted me. Another task is done for today, only I wonder what keeps me awake until this hour, oh ya, it's twins regular "susu" intake. I better head back to my pillow otherwise there'll be one cranky mommy tomorrow, not good, not good.

Another Ben10 request from a Ben10 fan. This is 1 1/2 recipe which is +- 1 1/2 kilo. The size of the cake box is 13". Well, homemade cakes won't be as big as the ones from bakery shops. Homemades are typically 'solid' cakes whereas bakeries mostly give you hollow sponge. The color combination screams 'BOY', I love it! I went out for dinner with some old friends last night and told them how it actually gives me nightmares if i don't manage to make perfect, pretty cakes for my customers, and this customer just texted saying how much she loves it. I intended to do Barbie Mariposa but it's like copying someone else's idea, so i gave my personal touch to it, a fairy with butterfly wings. And it feels nice after a whole day decorating cake, tired and weightless, if only I could fly like a fairy, I'd be just like this one!
